Stephanie has been performing onstage since the age of four. After growing up in both Boston, Massachusetts, and Ellsworth, Maine, she attended Eastern Nazarene College near Boston. She earned a triple major in Music, Education, and Vocal Performance, with voice as her primary area of study and a minor in strings. While in college, she met her husband, Matt, and they were married in 1999. They moved to the Rochester, New York area in 2001, where they raised and homeschooled their son, Angelo, who graduated in 2025. During that time, Stephanie was involved in teaching voice, strings, choir, and directing musicals through GRLEAH. Stephanie's love for music and education has been shaped by both her formal training and years of teaching. She is passionate about using music as a means of worship, ministry, and encouraging students to develop both their musical gifts and their hearts for serving God.

Outside of the classroom, Stephanie enjoys a wide variety of interests that reflect her creativity, curiosity and faith. She has a lifelong passion for music and enjoys learning to play new instruments whenever she has the opportunity. She also loves gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and her two cats and two dogs. Stephanie serves on the worship team at Lakeshore Community Church, where she enjoys using her musical gifts to glorify God and serve others. Above all, her love for the Lord is the foundation of both her personal life and her passion for teaching and ministry.
