Olivia Nieboer grew up in Orchard Park, NY, before moving to Rochester in 2015. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, she taught in the Rochester City School District and the Greece Central School District before joining the Northstar Christian Academy staff in 2022. With a background in self-contained special education and social studies education, Olivia brings a wealth of diverse classroom experience and a deep commitment to student growth.

In her role as Elementary Assistant Principal, Olivia is passionate about fostering a Christ-centered learning environment where students feel valued, supported, and challenged. She is dedicated to equipping both students and teachers with the tools, strategies, and encouragement they need to reach their highest potential. Olivia values creativity in learning and believes in using a variety of resources, perspectives, and research-based approaches to help every child thrive.

Olivia and her family are deeply involved in their local church. Olivia teaches Sunday school to kids aged 4-12 and serves as a partner with MissionShare in Greece. Each summer, her family serves on staff at a Christian summer camp, and they assist with off-season operations of the camp as well. Outside of school and ministry, Olivia enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, camping, and listening to a great podcast. She would love to hear your podcast recommendations!
