Olivia Nieboer grew up in Orchard Park, NY, before moving to Rochester in 2015. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, she taught high school in the Rochester City School District and middle school in the Greece Central School District before joining the Northstar staff in 2022. With a background in self-contained special education and social studies education, Olivia brings a wealth of diverse classroom experience and a strong commitment to student growth. In her roles at Northstar, Olivia is passionate about fostering a Christ-centered learning environment where students feel valued, supported, and challenged. She is dedicated to giving both students and teachers the tools and encouragement they need to reach their highest potential.

When not at school, Olivia enjoys teaching children's Sunday school at her church and serving with MissionShare in Greece. She spends her summers with her family serving at Camp Li-Lo-Li in Randolph, NY. Outside of ministry, Olivia enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading a good biography, camping, sewing, and listening to a great podcast.
