Roberts Wesleyan College - Bachelor of Science in Cross-Disciplinary Studies

Markeeta attended Northstar Christian Academy for several years and graduated in 2015. During these years, she played basketball and competed in track and field events. After graduating high school, she attended MCC and Roberts Wesleyan College and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Cross-Disciplinary Studies.​ In college, she began working at a local daycare and eventually at Northstar's daycare as well. This is where God confirmed her passion for education and children. Markeeta also serves regularly in the sound ministry and teen ministry at her church, Glory to Glory Christian Fellowship.

In her spare time, Markeeta enjoys spending time with her 3 nephews and 2 nieces. When she is not spending time with family, she likes to do DIY carpentry projects, reading, working out, and going to Target. Markeeta has also worked closely with NCA's Girls' Varsity Basketball Team where she is the assistant coach. She is excited to be working and giving back to the Northstar community that helped form the person she is today.
