Lara was born and raised in Rochester NY. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Oswego. Lara has worked in the education field for 20 years and has recently received her Masters of Childhood Education (1-6, Special Education) This is her first year teaching at Northstar Christian Academy and is excited to work with the students and staff.

Lara has been married since 2004 to her husband Michael who is also a teacher. They have two children, Adrianna and Dominic. Lara and her family attend Anchor Christian Church where Lara is a Sunday School Teacher for preschool and Kindergarten. She enjoys time with her family in the outdoors, coffee shops, libraries, gardening and crafting.
