Katie is a dedicated educator who started teaching in 2020 at Gilead School of Discipleship, where she graduated from high school just three months earlier. Passionate about both learning and faith, she earned her Master’s Degree in Education from SUNY Brockport in 2025 with the goal of using her degree to teach in a Christian School. When she married her husband, Joe, in 2024, Katie left the small school that first taught her about the Lord and began to look for opportunities near her new home. The Lord led her to Northstar, where she has found herself learning more and falling more in love with teaching.

Outside of the classroom, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her husband, hiking in the Adirondacks, and watching the Buffalo Bills! She also finds joy in gardening, where she appreciates the beauty and growth found in God’s creation. Through her commitment to teaching, faith, and family, Katie strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her.
