Joanna was raised in Naples, New York, and enjoyed soccer, basketball, and softball before graduating in 1997. She went on to St. Bonaventure University to get her Physical Education degree in 2001.  She furthered her education in 2009 at SUNY Brockport to earn her master’s degree in athletic administration.  She has been married to her husband Lucio for 15 years.  Joanna homeschooled her 4 children over the last 12 years.  She has been involved with homeschool physical education for those years.  She loves teaching Sunday school at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship.  

Joanna has the privilege to represent Christ every day.  She enjoys spending time with her family and loves to bless them and others. Joanna loves to do home projects and enjoys watching her sons play soccer. She looks forward to investing the love of Jesus to the students at Northstar.
