Izzy Brisco is a proud Northstar graduate, having attended the school from kindergarten through 12th grade. Her love for the school and its community inspired her to return as a teacher. She earned her degree in Childhood Education from Roberts Wesleyan University and began her career at Northstar as a part-time music teacher while completing her studies. After graduating, she transitioned into her current role as a first grade teacher. Now in her third year, Izzy loves pouring back into the school that helped her love Jesus more and love learning more, and she finds great joy in helping her students grow both academically and spiritually.

This past year, Izzy married her wonderful husband, Micah Brisco, and is still getting extra credit for remembering to write her new last name.

Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving at her church (First Bible Baptist), and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
