Colton was born into a Christian family, and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior when he was 6 years old. Although, during his early teens he tried to find satisfaction in the world, and it wasn't until he was 16 years old that he truly began to follow Christ. Since then the Lord has given him the privilege to be a part of ministries all around the world. He currently serve as the Missions Intern at First Bible Baptist Church alongside working at Northstar Christian Academy as a Bible teacher, an ESL teacher, and as the International Student Coordinator.

Colton finds enjoyment in many different hobbies such as: soccer, hiking, skiing, traveling, and more, but his true passion is found in preaching and teaching the Bible. It was through a missions trip to South East Asia that God put it on Colton's heart to start ministering to international students with a desire to see them saved, discipled, and sent back to their countries as ambassadors of the Gospel.
