Andrea graduated from Northstar in 1992 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rochester in 1996. After many years in nursing practice at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), she transitioned into health IT, working as an information analyst at URMC for six years. In 2021, Andrea brought her diverse experience back home to Northstar, where she currently serves as the Academic Guidance Counselor. She has also loved leading the girls' varsity soccer team as head coach since 2019.

Andrea has been married to her husband, Jeremy, since 2004. They have three children: two Northstar graduates who are currently pursuing degrees in engineering and nursing, and one who is a current Northstar student. Outside of school, Andrea instructs group exercise classes, assists with two local club soccer teams, and has served as a youth leader at First Bible Baptist Church since 2003.
