Favorite Saying

“Literature broadens our horizons. It causes us to laugh, to cry, to think about our similarities and differences. We as Christians go to the Bible as our standard of truth because it tells us about the logos, the Living Word, Jesus Christ. Literature, however, offers us the corresponding dialogos, the dialogue that raises issues to which we as Christians must be able to respond with the truth from God’s Word. Literature is rarely about answers—but it does present, very vividly, the questions of life.” -Dr. Sue Crider Adkins
