On Friday, November 13th a chapel was held for 

Operation Christmas child.  The K-6 grade students participated as well as many high school students and people from First Bible Baptist Church by filling a shoe box of items for various age groups of children.  Each person could put school supplies, toys, hygiene items, candy, hair accessories, a gospel tract and other items that would travel safely to countries of needy children.  During the chapel students brought their shoe boxes, sang songs and listened to a special presentation by Miss Richardson our 6th grade teacher.  Miss Richardson was able to personally deliver shoe boxes to Africa last year, and she described to the audience how the shoebox gets from our school to its destination.

  Debra and Jerry McHugh will be delivering our shoe boxes to a receiving area for further distribution.  Operation Christmas Child is project of Samaritan’s Purse.  We thank everyone for their help.
