LADY KNIGHTS ON WINNING THE SECTION V CLASS D SOFTBALL TITLE
Our Lady Knights became the 2008 Section V Class D Softball Champions, Thursday night at Keshequa by beating 3rd seed Scio by the score of 3 to 2. The now, 17-7 Lady Knights advance to the Section V Class DD/D Play-offs on Saturday, June 7th at SUNY Brockport. The game is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start. They are playing 1st seed Elba (20-3) who are the champions of the Class DD.
Northstar Senior Cara DiMartino was named MVP of the tournament. Congratulations to Cara and the rest of the softball team in winning another Sectional Softball Title. Head Coach John DiMartino, of the Northstar Lady Knights, coaches his team to their second consecutive Section V Class D Championship Title. In addition, Coach DiMartino was named 2008 Section V Class D Softball Coach of the Year.
