A Christmas Prayer Synopsis

Phillip Galloway has a 20-year-old chip on his shoulder.  His mother died from an illness when he was 6 years old.  Phillip grew embittered by his mother’s death and an emotionally absent father.  He remembers his mother’s deep faith, but he also remembers a father who was verbally abusive and constantly let him and his family down in almost every area of their lives.  Five years ago, his dad experienced a change of heart.  Phillip’s is cold toward his father and skeptical about his transformation.  Jenny, Phillip’s sister, pleads with him to come home for one weekend during the holidays to see a Christmas musical she and their brother Nathan are a part of.  Phillip reluctantly agrees.

The audience will have the opportunity to experience a heartwarming Christmas pageant as they follow Phillip on his journey homeward.  Come watch as the seasonal events of the Christmas story unfold.  Come witness the brief, but adventurous, journey of a lost son who is desperately searching for the true meaning of Christmas.
